In Walhalla we found this location in a rustic, great atmosphere.

So I've eaten in the restaurant a few times and it was always nice and tasty, but today I was visibly disappointed, the salad didn't taste good and I was greete... read more So I've eaten in the restaurant a few times and it was always nice and tasty, but today I was visibly disappointed, the salad didn't taste good and I was greeted unfriendly or not at all by the service employee and the complaint about the salad was not addressed at all and after that we weren't asked if we wanted something to drink or anything else!

A very quaint and “very cozy” restaurant... important to us: dogs are welcome! The service is great and the kitchen was a dream. The steak is to the point, wonderfully tender and a taste experience par excellence. My better half ordered fish and was also thrilled. It's a shame that the next day was a rest day. Otherwise we would have returned. The next time we are in the region, we will definitely stop by again. Best regards!

Although the main course was excellent, the female waiter on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 was extremely rude and unfriendly. We have eaten here several times in the past but this time we are really disappointed. We didn't like the salad this time, and the guests at the neighboring tables also reported similar things to us. When we directed our criticism at the service, it was met with horror and resistance to criticism. We were then punished with ignorance. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were ignored and had to wait 10 minutes despite having a reservation. After being assigned our seat, we were not greeted. The waitress just asked: “Where did you come from now?” Have you finally chosen something to drink yet? I’m in a hurry.” That’s when my jaw dropped for the first time. The same game when eating: the cards were just thrown onto the table by the waitress as we passed. We didn't feel comfortable here and will definitely not come again.
