The BBQ pizza was overwhelmed by the BBQ sauce, making it hard to taste the pineapple or chicken. The bacon pizza was also excessive, with an overload of bacon and a mayo-like sauce. I tried the pickle and dill pizza, but the flavors just didn’t come together for me. Overall, these pizzas felt too rich and dense; the box was dripping with oil and sauce. After trying many other pizza joints in the area we finally found the winner! Saucy’s is the best pizza in the Pointes. Both the round and Detroit style are absolutely amazing. They have a great selection of toppings several sauce options, many cheeses (including a dairy free which is a must for our family due to allergies), and unique toppings.I highly recommend. While their delivery is great, I suggest you get takeout at least once to experience the funky vibe they’ve created in the store.
This place is always a hit! consistently delicious pizza. the buffalo bird is my personal favorite, also if you like garlic knots…. you gotta try theirs, outta this world.
