Side Street Diner - Grosse Pointe Farms

I had a fantastic breakfast overall. I couldn't resist trying the delicious pancakes that I saw being served while I placed my order, and I'm so glad I did!

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, but the fries are quite disappointing. The Turkish dinner, meat salad, salmon, and the chic Fajita salad are all excellent. The burger, mac and cheese, and side vegetables are also really tasty. However, I wouldn't recommend the fries—they're the worst I've ever had, reminiscent of what you'd find at an ice cream shop. Also, it's best to skip adding chicken to your salad, as it lacks flavor. On the plus side, the Turkey Sammy is very good. And you even have Ding-a-ling chocolates available, which is a fun surprise!

I really enjoy this welcoming diner. I've dined here several times, and the food is consistently excellent. The staff is both friendly and professional, and I've never had to wait long for my order. This is a fantastic spot, and I highly recommend it.

If you are looking for great food, excellent service and great prices, then this is the place! We had such a great time on Side Street Diner, our burgers were wonderful and the chili was great. We're coming back!
