We ordered carry out and they told us 45 minutes. It took 90 minutes and 1 lady was serving tables and taking care of carry out orders. The food was good but was very disappointed with the wait time. I recently had the pleasure of dining in at this restaurant for dinner, and I must say, the experience was wonderful. The food was exceptional—definitely a 5 out of 5. I particularly enjoyed the Crazy Crab Roll, which I highly recommend. The overall service was quite good as well, earning a solid 4. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, also rated at 4. With prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person, this place is definitely worth a visit!

We are regulars for takeout! My husband has Celiac disease, so finding a sushi restaurant that offers gluten-free sushi rolls and soy sauce is incredibly rare, but greatly appreciated. I've tried sushi all over the country, including in Oceanside. I usually believe that Midwest sushi can’t compare to the fresh catches in places like California and Hawaii. However, Ume is FRESH and delicious. If you want a special treat, arrive 10 minutes before your pickup time to watch them hand roll your sushi—it’s quite an experience! I give it a perfect score every time: 10 out of 10.
