Auhof - Grossarl

This was our first holiday in Austria with our children (3 and 6 years). What can I say: we are all thrilled. It was really a great holiday. You were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. We particularly liked the fact that it was really very comfortable and informal. Even the host family was always present and helpful. There was always a nice chat . Nobody seemed stressed. The kids don 't miss out either. Playroom, the petting zoo. Just great. Rooms: The rooms are big enough and very clean. What we found a pity was a missing table on the balcony and a small fridge. Nearby activities: A great starting point for families. We had the Salzburg map. We can only recommend. The Geisterberg, the Liechtensteinklamm and the hike to the Breitennebenalm via the shortcut were really great. The outdoor pool is also very nice and well maintained. The Rucki Zucki Gaudialm is also great. Food drinks: The food was MEGA. All freshly prepared and very imaginative. Every evening I looked forward to the new menu selection. The service was very good. Our main waitress (I think Pezi) was very attentive and already knew on the second evening what we like to drink. The plates were immediately cleared away. Nobody seemed stressed. We really worked as a team here. Noteworthy details: They take care of their guests without being intrusive. Is always friendly, everything is very clean. Tasty, varied food. Good starting point for many activities.

Die Betreuung der Pferde und die Sauberkeit am Reiterhof lassen stark zu wünschen übrig. Wir mussten das Dilemma vier Tage lang im benachbarten Hotel beobachten.

Wir haben nach einem Familienhotel mit Skischule direkt an der Piste gesucht und sind auf den Auhof in Großarl gestoßen. Familie Rohrmooser und ihr Team sind einfach hervorragend. Vom Buchungsprozess bis hin zu einer wunderschönen Woche im Hotel Ende 2022 war alles perfekt. Ein uriges Hotel, das mit viel Herz und hohem Qualitätsanspruch geführt wird und jeden Stern wirklich verdient hat. Alle Mitarbeiter sind auf allen Ebenen stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und ansprechbar. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und erstklassig. Das Essen war fantastisch. Die Lage ist 1A, wirklich direkt an der Piste und an der Gondel, nur 2 Gehminuten von der Skischule entfernt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause gefühlt und waren sehr zufrieden. Ein herzliches Dankeschön! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

When it comes to reviews on Google, I have to say that I enjoy reading them but hate writing them. However, I have the feeling that it is all the more appropriate here. We stayed here from 05 10 June 23 and it was our first hotel vacation with our daughter (2.5 years old . We were actually enthusiastic from the first moment! The location is great and super nice. (The construction site noise from the surrounding houses and hotels is of course there, but nobody can do anything about it. And you don 't stay in the room with kids for very long anyway : When we arrived we were already expected and greeted very friendly. Our short even got a welcome gift (by the way, there was also a little something when we left The friendliness and interest of the employees makes a very big difference to other hotels and restaurants. Everything is very nicely furnished and prepared for children . In the foyee there are always small sweets to take away : There is a juice bar for the kids which I think is very popular. In the foyee there are also folders with information about excursion destinations etc. Hiking MTB etc. There is a children 's playroom downstairs and even childcare is offered. The lady was super nice with children and had great ideas and, above all, very strong nerves was my impression : We never felt that she was annoyed or irritated by the children or the noise. Incidentally, this applies to all employees... we never noticed that anyone was annoyed or reacted irritably. In our opinion, that alone deserves a lot of respect! From the hotel 's own car park (free of charge by the way you can get to the playground and the animals (petting enclosure Here, too, small is beautiful! Everything is nicely done and for our 2 year old that was super enough. The ground level trampoline was the highlight for her. What struck me most was that it is a family business. From my own experience, I can say that you notice this in a positive way. Especially if you pay attention to the little things and details . You can tell that it is more than just a job! And that makes the whole thing a very special experience for us. We felt very comfortable and will most likely be back. We had a family suite family room (2 separate rooms Here it is of course always a very subjective impression of the guests. For example, we found it a bit challenging that the 2nd room didn 't get dark that well. (Curtains Putting our daughter to sleep was sometimes a bit difficult. The facility is also getting old in some places. But of course we could only see and judge the room... and it should be clear to everyone that you can 't always have freshly renovated and modernized every room! Our bed was notably great. The cleanliness of the whole room was great. What my wife and I really appreciated were the long duvets : All in all it was good and sufficient for us. Nearby activities: There is a super large free adventure playground near the hotel. Easily accessible on foot or by bike. In addition, mini golf and tennis as seen. There is definitely more to mention that we may not have noticed because we didn 't use it that much. Small cute shops are also within walking distance. Right next to the hotel is the gondola to go up the mountain. I can 't say much about that because I only rode halfway once because of the MTB trail.
