After only about 6 months the beer fountain is closed again. pity! there were too few guests although the price/performance ratio was absolutely in order. what is now unclear. again a top local less in big city.

After only a few months the former beer fountain closes. the euphoria of the first months was unfortunately quickly blurred even though everything went super. why did the guests fail to visit??? at eating and cheap drinks it cannot have located. Pity! !

The beer fountain has been well over 20 years led by helmut ifiges super. besides the at least 5 beer varieties, small (but true delicacies) have been offered in constant change. it was found almost daily the patriarch. now the well-known local portogiesich is led far beyond the city. foods are delicious and extremely inexpensive. drinks unbeatable. or where to get a bottle of borba under 12euro? spirituosen equally cheap. all in all still good local. we like to go there more often.

One of the old pubs in Groß-Umstadt. Split into a small smoker area and a slightly larger non-smoking area. Very nice ambience. Typical German pub with old tables, benches and a very nice decor. The host is very friendly and as soon as you enter the pub it does not take long until it takes the order. Beverage prices are average. 0.5l Land beer 3.20. 0,33l Jever or tannins 2,20. Measure land beer 5,20. These 3 beers are always offered, fresh from the barrel. There is also a wide selection of wine, both from Groß-Umstadt itself and from other regions of Germany. Also the snap card is very large, but there is much more than on the map, here you can also ask the host for the wish drink and with a little luck he has there. There are also many bottled beers and seasonal beers from the barrel. For example, the Oktoberfest Paulaner Oktoberfest beer or wintertime winter bock are held. There are also small bites, for example small soups (3 different), sandwiches or hot meat sausages and more. 5 stars for the very beautiful pub for young and old.
