Breezy terrasse over signe river is a welcoming place. Summer service has charming helper from abroad , professional and smiling. On our plates truffles cream ravioli and pokeplate with salmon. Good indeed and fresh. Prices are on a reasonnable range. A place to come back to!
Very elaborate menu with lots of choices, also seasons suggestions. All food served was fresh , of good quality and prepared well. Prices are ok for the food served. The proposed menu s offer good value. Service is good, friendly. Lady of the house has a good knowledge of the food and the wine on offer.
The restaurant is off a main road and close to the river which gives it a very quiet, secluded feel of intimacy. There is ample parking however and lovely outdoor seating for the spring and summer. Once inside there are actually 3 distinct seating areas; one is light and modern more in a French style and behind it is an area more Germanic in styling while on the opposite side is a room done in the typical dark woods of a Brauhaus. This said the menu reflects the same; a mix of traditional French and German cuisine to choose from and a good wine list as well. Service is prompt and depth of knowledge is a point of pride here. An example would be ordering the cheese plate and having staff know exactly where each cheese is from and what drinks best accompany them. This was a return trip for us and each time the meal has been well worth the trip and the price. There are menus offered as well as a la carte and prices vary greatly so there is something for anyone and everyone from the casual family luncheon to the gourmand experience.
Everything was perfect. The food was fantastic, prepared with love. The sauce for the duck was excellent. It was also beautifully presented – presentation matters. We opted for the set menu. There was a wide selection of many delicious, typical French dishes. The tables and chairs in the second room were just like you'd find in a simple, good French country restaurant. The front area, furnished like an American bistro, was a bit jarring. We will definitely go there again.
