Our local restaurant when we are in Italy. We always eat there. Open Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch. Booking advisable. In non Covid times often have wedding parties so not open to others. Food is always excellent, home cooked. We cannot resist the tortelli, it’s sublime! No written menu and just a few choices in each course but that means standard is high. Highly recommend!

We go there every year just for the tortelli or torellini. Superb. Good wine good service. GOOD Busy on wedding days, no room there then. Just lovely food and reliable.

We visited Trattoria Cacciatore two evenings. The servers are very welcoming and instead of presenting a menu, they will ask what you would like to eat and make suggestions. The antipasto salumi is delicious and plentiful; coppa and links of dried salami, marinated vegetables, bruschetta and bread. The tortelloni Piacentini with butter and sage is delicious. The house wine is very good and there is no need to order a fancy bottle. We also had the meat ravioli in brodo which was the best I have ever tasted. The brodo was freshly made and served tableside. After our bowls were filled, the soup terrine was left at our table for seconds. Zabaglione with chocolate is not to be missed. The decor is warm and welcoming and the staff is very helpful. I highly recommend this trattoria when visiting Ponte del'Olio. It is also recognized in the Michelin Guide for Italy.

A hidden small family run restaurant surrounded by gentle hills. The food is homemade and the quality is excellent.Home made cured meats are unique and the taste is unmistakable fantastic. Not to mention the selection of local wines and a waste selection of upscale grappa's and whiskeys.The service is very efficient, courteous. The atmosphere is cozy and very warm. Highly recommended!
