I would’ve given the 5 stars because the cake and the chai latte were amazing but the old lady was super rude. I was just finishing my chai and she told me that I had to pay the bill and leave because they needed the table when they had 3 EMPTY TABLES INSIDE AND 4 EMPTY TABLES OUTSIDE. Favourite place in Groningen for coffee and cake. Barbara and Anne had this place for years and as a group of friends and university students this was our place to go after the lecture. They serve what I think is the best cake in all Groningen!

Beautiful atmosphere, amazing homemade cakes and a wide selection of loose leaf teas. Could not recommend enough!
