We arrived there from a long flight from US and we were hungry so we had no other option as it was already 7:30 pm. This place gave me the impression that tourists are not welcomed here, they mainly cater to locals. The following night we decided to give them another chance and made reservations to dine in. He was slightly more polite but the food was garbage and the service was horrible. They brought drinks and placed them in the middle of the table without asking who's drinking what. Overall, I did not like the service, the food, or the way they treat non-locals. Tourism is their main source of income in this fairly secluded town, they should be nicer.

They pay sp... read more For a day trip to the San Fermo hills, the Valico restaurant is a pleasant surprise. Diego knows how to welcome you and recommend their specialties. They pay special attention to children. We ate really well, both first and second courses. We'll be back.
