Was so good that we decided to return the next day for lunch. Again, everything was awesome no maître de) with the one exception of the fondue. Watery and somewhat acidic. A real shame :

The atmosphere is charming and feels cozy even though th... read more The food is delicious and varied everyone will find something they like (including vegetarian options)! The atmosphere is charming and feels cozy even though the space is pretty big. They are remodeling their entrance but the signs were clear (enter in the back). Super friendly waitstaff they made our off season visit to Grindelwald great! Highly recommend be sure to reserve well in advance.

Trip advisor recommended Barry's and we decided to go since it was just next door. The food and the atmosphere were awesome. Our server Christina was wonderful. She was able to make recommendations for wine and dessert that we were very happy with. She was very attentive and friendly. After dinner, the owner came by to check on us and make sure we had a good experience. I give them 5 stars and would definitely go back if i was in Switzerland.

There were several open tables but we were told that in order to be seated, we would need... read more It was our 25th anniversary trip and we decided to go and grab a bite. There were several open tables but we were told that in order to be seated, we would need to share a table. We agreed and they sat us at a table that was closest to the bathroom. A minute later they say is next to a mother and daughter who speak the language. Their waiter doated on them while we waited to order. When we finally did, it was obvious that the waitress did not like Americans. Needless to say we waited a very long time to just get our drinks. When we finally got our food, my burger was mushy and tasted off. We waited another 30 minutes to just to pay. We were so excited to try this place and we’re definitely disappointed.
