Was Deonte Parisian at Aspect Tamar Valley Resort, Grindelwald a mag?
The service was excellent however the pizza that I had wasn't that nice as would of preferred the normal sauce rather than the sugo base which I didn't like and didn't have any options to choose for the sauce for the base sauce and there wasn't much else on the menu that I would or could of had with my allergies or medical condition with my throat. The waitress was excellent didn't get her name but she waited to coll... View all feedback.
What Ervin Schulist dislikes about Aspect Tamar Valley Resort, Grindelwald:
Great place with friendly staff! The only letdown was that breakfast and coffee were not provided considering the price we paid, and the menu options didn’t meet our expectations. Overall, I’d rate the service 3/5 and the atmosphere 4/5. Hotel highlights: rest...More. View all feedback.

The staff here are incredibly nice, and we received a complimentary upgrade to a sea view space to celebrate our jubilee, complete with chocolates and sparkling wine.

My accommodation was a villa in the 500 group down the bottom. Please don't let the name confuse you, these really are just basic cabins. The cabins circulate a grass oval but some are lakesideInside, something akin to a caravan, the door opens to a double bed, bathroom to the side, sofa opposite a kitchenette and a second room containing another double bed with space for a lounge chair and small closet.Windows along this bedroom consist of along the wall and sliding door to a Juliette balcony shared by the kitchenette/sofa, which also has sliding door access.Kitchenette has microwave (not necessarily on all cabins), kettle, toaster. A phone for ordering from service or making any on site inquiries/bookings. Crockery for 4 is clean and just what you need for no fuss catering. There is a barbeque on site, basketball court, tennis court, paddle boats and kayaks on the lake for 30 min hire. Also swimming, mini golf, golf and buggy hire. Don't forget Tamarhorn which is a steep corkscrew hill with amazing views. The swiss chalets are really where the family or group abomination sings. It's been many years since I've stayed in them though so I won't mention them more other than to say they are pretty to look at and are all named. There is also hotel room accommodation with more generous size beds, (I was told king). If you do stay here make sure you take a slow drive around Alpine Crescent and visit Grindelwald chapel and walk the lake.
Alpine chalet is nice, cozy. By no means is it luxury accomodation, but instead more like a fancy hotel cabin. No room service and next to no wifi or mobile reception. Staff at the restaurant and cafe seemed to be very flustered and rarely polite. Great little family stay, and beautiful little village otherwise

This is a fantastic stop for families and friends, offering a variety of activities and excellent amenities. There are cafes on-site, and ample parking is available. It's also very budget-friendly compared to hotels. Key highlights of the hotel include luxury accommodations, stunning views, a peaceful atmosphere, a kid-friendly environment, and great value for money.
Visited to check out the Resort but couldn't view rooms. Layout very pleasant, with a lake nearby. Mini golf, water golf and activities for children. Bistro looked inviting. Nice place to stay for a change Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet
Wonderful service and food for a birthday celebration. Was busy but we were never waiting for great food or service. Well done
Resort needs to be updated, eg Villas presser washed and painted and decks upgraded and Tea were beautiful service was great in the restaurant. Check in was easy as well but the staff need to be told that guests have to book in for Tea etc. Rooms: Our room was good for what we wanted, but for more room we thought that the double bed could be removed and the table moved to where the bed was. Food drinks: Food was excellent at the restaurant could not complain at all. The specials each night we was there was great and the lunch menu sounded good for the price of $20, but menus in room was saying $15 needs to be updated as well.
This review is solely about the golf course. The Grindelwald golf course is nothing more than a paddock with holes. There is no difference between what are supposed to be fairways and what are supposed to be greens. It is absolutely appalling!!!! It is obvious that there hasn 't been any maintenance done on this course for years. The greens are full of rabbit holes!!!! There is a 500 odd meter walk from the 3rd green to the 4th tee. My son and I went for a hit and had to hire 1 set of clubs. The guy in the golf shop was friendly and he did say that the course isn 't in the best condition at the moment so the green fees are half price, ie $10 each. Then added a further $17 for the club hire. The clubs were a hodge podge of clubs with two 3 irons and two 8 irons. Definitely won 't be going back there again and will tell everyone not to go there either. Very disappointing course for such a popular tourist attraction in the Tamar Valley. It needs a good 100 K to make it even slightly playable
