amazing intimate experience of authentic Icelandic cuisine. the restaurant is stunning and the food was the best we had on the island. it is expensive, but worth it in my opinion as a special occasional meal, especially with the wine pairing option. we loved every farm. for all courses it took approx. 2 hours what we felt was fitting, and we felt neither hastened nor impatient for the next curator. many thanks for a... What User doesn't like about Moss:
It was very annoying after I spent the morning in the lagoon and worked a huge appetite to see only 1 vegan meal option (avocado toast with a few small pieces tofu) and it is a good thing that I did not allergic to avocados or I would not even have been able to eat! Luckily, the bread was gluten-free or I could not have eaten it again. Whatever these multiple-course meal others have spoken is definitely gone. Blue La... View all feedback.

What an excellent restaurant. we enjoyed a 7-course canning menu with a change of the courses for my man. no problem. and because we love red wine over white, we asked for a change of weeping that made somethinglier a great job. foods were of high quality and service also from the highest standards. it was a great experience for us as eating and wine lovers and a great pleasure! we recommend this restaurant for gourmets and the love to come back!
A phenomonal restaurant. agnar sverrisson is an excellent cook; we miss him in london! See this restaurant best for a taste of Icelandic cuisine. my dinner here was a highlight of my year! I can't wait to be back. 2022!
Once they get in, they can tell why it has a Michelin star. beautiful with bowls that lie next to the kitchen and the chairs. they thought of everything. the service was impeccable and the 7-speed tasting menu is literally the only one that goes away. when it was time for the meat course, they have “pre-set” perfectly resting lamb sitting on the top of the lava stone hand selected by the chef. as I said, they thought of everything. if they get a chance, it is worth every single penny. bon appetit!
Dinner was included with our stay in The Retreat at the Blue Lagoon. Food was very good, although the menu was quite similar to Lava, the other restaurant at The Retreat which we had eaten at the night before. Service was unfortunately lacking, we were waiting almost 30 minutes to be served our last course. The staff didn’t acknowledge our wait or apologise The atmosphere was a little too stuffy for our liking, and they had a fireplace on all evening which made the room unbearably hot. If it hadn’t been included in our stay we certainly would not have been happy paying.
