Reviews - On Flinders
Reviews summary
On Flinders offers a unique dining experience with great food and adjustments for gluten-free requirements, such as delicious pancakes and a delightful salmon and poached egg dish. However, some customers were disappointed with the lack of uniqueness in the breakfast offerings, which resembled typical bacon and eggs meals. Despite the great service and quality food, one customer witnessed the boss yelling at staff, which was deemed unacceptable behavior. On the other hand, the cafe provides a real alternative to other establishments in Manuka, with exceptional pizzas and above-average breakfast options. The cafe also received praise for its excellent coffee, accommodating owner, fresh ingredients, and overall great vibe. In conclusion, On Flinders seems to have a lot to offer in terms of food and ambiance, despite some negative incidents.

I have ordered takeaway from On Flinders a few times now as my hotel doesn't have room service. On all occasions the meals have been delicious and fresh with friendly delivery. View all feedback.
What Eloise Jones dislikes about On Flinders:
Food was ok. Too salty. What we got (grilled salmon) x2, not as described on menu. Half the components were left out. Basically got salmon, snow peas and cherry tomatoes. Ordered the kids meals with no tomatoes, order came with tomatoes. Guy who served us very polite but had no idea what he was doing. Disappointing experience View all feedback.

Had an excellent meal in the café in Canberra. Owner was fantastic and very accommodating. Coffee was nice and hot, chicken wraps were fresh and had heaps of produce. Chips were fantastic, get there for breakfast. Looked like some nice items on the specials board.
Sonoma bakery has a new home on Saturdays mornings with best street food grab and go bakery @On Flinders. Breakfast all day from 7.30am which is so good. Best coffee by Lonsdale roasters and served hot.
This place used to be good, but has obviously changed ownership. I would give it zero stars if I could. I ordered an iced coffee which consisted of a shot of coffee in a glass of tepid milk. It was disgusting. No cream or ice cream to cool it down. My husband ordered an extra hot mocha was was also luke warm. These cost us $12.65. When we questioned the amount we were told there was a 15% Sunday surcharge which was “advertised on the menu” although we were not given a menu when we ordered. He then placed a sign up on the counter that wasn’t on display when we ordered advertising the surcharge.
Food cold, breakfast really late, despite us telling the staff we had a timeline, they were not honest about how long it would take
Staff service was excellent hard to find these days. Was here when the Cricket was on in Manuka, ww almost have come everytime since a game is on. PIZZA was delicious. We also saw some of the CRICKET players eating so we said this must be a good place to eat. Friendly and good for families. As soon as we sat down cool water and ice given to us. Highly recommend
