What 741flaviaa doesn't like about Capricci Di Gola:
It’s amazing how accomodating they were with our wishes as vegetarians. Server was friendly. Street parking in front of restaurant. Food was good but not extraordinary! We ordered a green salad... they take it literal. A bowl of cut lettuce, nothing else... not delicious. Dessert (tiramisu) wasn’t fresh. Price was decent. View all feedback.
This was our second visit, the first visit was great and I reviewed it accordingly. This time, just like the first, we pre-ordered seafood for a particular date. When we arrived, they had not any seafood. So we ate hamburgers, which were excellent, but not what we wanted, not what we pre-ordered. I can understand someone making a mistake, but what happened next is unforgivable. As in our earlier visit, I purchased two bottles of wine, the Moio 57, one bottle with dinner, one bottle to take away, price on the menu 10 euro each. I paid, we left, and it was only later in our hotel that I looked at the bill and discovered we'd been charged 15 euro for each bottle! This is the second time in this region that I have been too trusting and been overcharged. Customers beware, especially trusting folks at the nearby US base, look closely at the bill before paying! We will not return, the burgers were great, but also available at a restaurant just 100m away.
We found this place on Trip Advisor, and the photos and comments dealt mainly with pizza and burgers. We messaged them inquiring about seafood, and they immediately responded that it was available by special order. We ordered and told them the date we would be driving down from Tuscany. When we arrived, we were a bit nervous because the place was very simple and obviously did a big take-out pizza business. But when the seafood antipasto arrived, we were overjoyed! First, a plate of oysters, followed by a plate with some 9 different varieties of seafood prepared in different ways: shrimp, both tiny and huge; octopus; several kinds of fish. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely, along with the best foccaccia we have ever eaten, hot from wood-burning oven. Next, my wife had a contadino burger she had earlier decided on, and it was wonderful, while I had my pre-ordered mixed seafood pasta which was marvelous, loaded with fresh mediterranean seafood. The local wines were excellent, we had a falanghina and a red my the great winemaker Moio. Service was good and friendly, the price fair. All in all, a memorable meal. We heartily recommend this place. We visit this area once a month and will always have dinner here!

I’ve only been here once and I had the rotisserie chicken, potatoes and caprese salad which were all amazing. The wine is delicious of course and service was fast and friendly. There’s free parking in the front which is hard to come by and awesome.
The food was delicious. The servers seemed annoyed we weren't Italian though. The atmosphere was nice especially in the summer. My only complaint is they have a tiny outdoor seating area crammed with WAY too many tables. I don't recommend bringing your children if you have a problem with them being in a shroud of cigarette smoke. We had to move are daughter several times because the amount of people lighting up on the outdoor seating area. I think this place would be great for date night!
