We sat by the window with a group of friends while the server attended to the table across from us. She could see us, but didn’t approach to take our order for about 10 minutes, instead focusing on the new cars arriving. It was frustrating because we were ready to order. We decided to leave and go to Basin instead, where they actually appreciate our business.
We visited the coffee shop on our way back to Colorado and had a wonderful experience. A charming young woman served us and clearly enjoyed her job. The coffee was excellent, and we will definitely return.
While passing through town from out of state, I noticed this coffee shop across the street and quickly popped over to grab a latte while my husband refueled the RV. Initially, I didn’t see anyone at the window, so I gently tapped on the glass. A staff member appeared a few seconds later but hardly greeted me before abruptly closing the window again. After preparing my drink, she didn't mention the price (I just handed her cash) and didn’t thank me for my business or the tip I left. There was no effort to make small talk or even a smile. It struck me as odd, especially since baristas typically rely on tips and are usually quite friendly. I’m giving it 2 stars solely because the latte was good.
