It’s pointless to order for pickup here. I gave an hour’s notice when I placed my order, but when I arrived to pick it up, none of the sandwiches had even been started.
I placed an online order at noon with a scheduled pickup time of 1 PM. To ensure I arrived when my order was ready, I tracked it online. Since I live less than five minutes from the subway store, I was there by 1:05 PM after seeing that my order was complete. When I arrived, the woman at the counter asked for my name and confirmed it was an online order. I told her my name and mentioned that my order was supposed to be ready for pickup. However, she checked and informed me that they hadn't even started making my order yet. I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes, and they had run out of the chips I had ordered. I really dislike hearing excuses like "we're short-staffed today," as everyone is facing staffing challenges. It's frustrating when I’m told my order is ready for pickup, only to be asked to wait an extra 20 minutes for preparation. At the very least, they could offer a coupon for a free 6-inch sub on my next visit as a gesture of goodwill.
This is my go-to Subway location. Though it is a little out of the way for me, it is always a great experience. The location is well-kept and they have the nice retractable glass to close after the orders are completed. There is something for everyone at Subway.
