First time going there and we loved it. We got chicken hibachi double meat. My dad got chicken and shrimp. It was so good. Extra sauce is a must for us. Will go back next time we're in Madison. View all feedback.

I like chicken teriyaki, but I've had to be discriminated against, when I ask for extra meat, it's the same, and if there is someone else of another race, they give them the plate they can't even close it, and it's been the same several times, and even worse when I ask for it in the app, when I go and tell them, they simply pretend to not hear. . Took my daughter for a quick lunch. We shared a meal.. Asked for extra chicken.. Got shrimp. Not what i asked for!Everybody loves this place,food is consistent. Staff isn't great because they don't have to be! Literally fought with me about what i ordered when i corrected the order i was told i ordered something else. Then wasn't given the spring rolls when back to get them and was given one and then fought about what was on the receipt. I open business and would never fight with a patron about what they want and paid for! I correct it and give the customer what they are looking for from my business! Put a horrible taste in my mouth about ever returning. Communication is everything. But when you don't care because your business is self sufficient you forget about human to human connections and the bad rep it creates! It's not cool!
I've eaten chicken teriyaki for years and the last few times has been a disappointment. The food is still good. However, the service is shallow. I feel like it is me doing them a favor to pick to eat there. About a year ago I ordered on the app for a future delivery, was early and the food was cold. A few months ago I came at 5:30 when they close at 6 and they said they were out of chicken? Today I was in Madison early and decided to to have chicken teriyaki. I thought they opened at 10:30. At 10:38 I asked and was told they open at 11:00. 11:05 I was told 5 minutes. First plate out at 11:20. Wish it wasn't so hard to buy their food.
I would give them 5 stars except you can't contact them and if you use door dash they have it set up to where the customer can't request extra sauce or anything. You try to call them the number is out of service. I eat here often. And I always request extra sauce Uber let's you request it door dash doesn't. Sometimes they send it but mostly they do not . I've even had them tell the driver it's in the bag and it wasn't. SARKU in the spirit of Kaizein send enough teriyaki sauce to taste it thank you
