Unaccepatable wait time for soup a sandwich! Order time stamp was 6:31pm we finally got it at 7:07pm after the manager asked my husband for his name, I guess recognizing that he had been standing there way too long. Won't be back even though the food was good. View all feedback.
Customer service was fantastic! Food was exactly what I ordered and tasted delish!
The online ordering process went perfectly, however, upon arrival to pick up my order (which should have been ready and waiting on one of the pickup shelves) I noticed several people waiting and looking at their phones with that look of disgust and inpatients. Multiple customers approached the counter to confirm that their orders were being prepared, while others waited patiently and longingly for what we hoped would be a satisfying meal. With clear sightlines over the counter and thru the pickup windows we were all able to watch the kitchen prep workers preparing all of our orders. This was all the evidence we needed to understand why they were so behind in getting the food into our hands and mouths. At times I counted 6 people milling about while 1 or 2 were actually assembling orders and then several of them would disappear from sight leaving just 1 or 2 people doing very slow (not expeditious) prep. After watching this display for 35 minutes beyond my original pickup time my food was placed on the counter without an announcement (previous customers names were announced) lucky for me that I was watching and paying attention to the action (or lack there of) that I saw the name on the bag. I did as many others did, and checked inside the bag to confirm that the order was correct and complete and YES it was! Upon returning home my son and I separated our items and dove in. For the most part the sandwiches were tasty, yet assembled very sloppy. The soup was somewhat bland but satisfied our hunger. The overall experience left much to be desired and my biggest concern was how this location must struggle during peak times as my order was placed on a Saturday evening at 6:30. We will try again and hope for better service and an uptick in food quality.
My wife and I are in Madison because she had surgery today in the area. After leaving the hospital and not eating for nearly 24 hours, I asked her what she wanted and she said Panera. After getting her settled in the hotel I set off for this location. My wife wanted a soup bread bowl and an m&m cookie. When I walked in, I noticed that there were no cookies other than chocolate chip. When asked for my order by what I think was the manager (very nice man). I asked if there were any m&m cookies and he said I can probably round one up . Then I asked for a bread bowl of the soup my wife requested...he asked in back if there were any and the response was all out . Without hesitating he walked over to where the stock for the next day was and he grabbed a bread bowl and gave it to the cooks to use. I was blown away at how customer focused he was. Only because of his efforts was I able to bring my wife back exactly what she wanted. In a world where customer service seems to be a dying art, this was the exact opposite. I didn 't catch your name Sir but please know that my wife and I truly appreciate your efforts to make your customers happy. Unfortunately we don 't live in the area but I feel compelled to let the public know what a wonderful experience this was. Thank you so much!!!!
Why would a restaurant known for bagels, be out of bagels for the day by 9:30am? Called the restaurant, and they were not making more. Not good when there are many other options in the area.
Such a nice, clean restaurant. Food was great and service was friendly. Busy place but well organized and quick. The pick two is a great value.
