Yami Sushi Teriyaki - Gresham

I absolutely adore this restaurant; it's hands down the best sushi I've ever had! The service has consistently been fantastic during my visits. My family is a big fan of this place too! We go at least twice a month and have never been let down!

Delicious, but... We sampled a variety of dishes, and everything was quite tasty. However, as others have pointed out, the service could use some improvement. The staff is friendly, but one staff member seemed to be a bit forgetful. We were seated promptly, but after a few minutes, I had to get up and ask for menus. When my sushi arrived, I also had to go and request the wasabi I had asked for earlier. That said, we’ll definitely return; the teriyaki chicken and gyoza were excellent. The salmon in my Philly roll was cut a bit larger than I prefer, but that’s just a matter of personal taste and texture.

The food here is amazing, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I once waited 15 minutes to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant and ended up leaving without being seated. If you want to enjoy a meal, it's best to go for take-out.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The staff is both friendly and inviting! We enjoyed the salmon sashimi and spicy tuna sushi, both of which were absolutely delicious. The restroom was clean, as were the tables and floor. Overall, it's an excellent spot for sushi and beer. Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
