On... read more Just visiting Grenoble we were lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening in Le Seize. An amuse bouche of velouté of butternut was presented first delicious! One starter of ravioli in a jus rather than the usual pasta sauce was sensational. Another...starter of a cream cheese mouse was wonderful, but a bigger portion of beetroot sauce would have been appreciated to cut through the creaminess. Main courses were a slow cooked filet mignon covered in a delicious herb pesto and a filet of cod in a soft crust of kale. These were cooked to perfection. The accompanying vegetables were also delicious and a tiny lace crisp elevated the dish. The wine was well priced. We did not have room for dessert. Staff were attentive and friendly. We would return!

Re another review ... I was offered a decent red wine for a reasonable price. I had come to this street for another restaurant more highly rated on Trip Advisor but liked this menu better. Really a good choice for me.
