Le Cinecitta - Grenoble

My wife and I had a wonderful time served here dinner from a very nice couple. Although we don't barely speak a word of French, the woman was very patient and declared every court so good she could. you man, the cook, is very animated, loves cooking, and they have the impression that both were very satisfied and do their best. our dinners were great. the penne siciliana was made perfect and excellent; my wife had the vegetarian lasagne and it was great. I have not such a real, good service in any restaurant in a very long time. these people take care of their customers, take care of their food and serve very good food at a reasonable price. I have the impression that they would do everything to ensure that their customers were satisfied with what they got.

Recommended by a workmate, small place, but excellent eating. the host was very welcoming and a whole character. to hear him, describe the courts is worth the trip on their own. eating is made to traditional family recipes and everything is excellent.

During our three week stay in Grenoble, we ended up here three times. It's run by a lovely Italian couple who are very welcoming and personable. Be warned, they don't seem to speak much English, but with our limited French, Italian and some pointing, we...somehow managed to order and talk and laugh with them. It's a small place but a very warm atmosphere. The tagliatelles with pomodoro sauce was excellent, with the pasta being freshly made. The wine selection was a perfect compliment. Many of my friends staying in Grenoble also visited and we all had nothing but great reviews on our dishes. Due to the small size of the operation, it can take a while if the chef is busy or you are with a large party, but don't let that discourage you. Just be prepared to have a longer meal and enjoy an extra bottle of wine!

This is a family run, Italian trattoria. The owner is the chef and his wife serves. You feel part of the family: warmth towards children and if the chef doesn't like something, he will say so. Service can sometimes suffer if the chef is busy...or talking to other customers, this may be the price to pay for the personal touch. Dishes change seasonally and prices are reasonable but not cheap.

Le restaurant est sympa, la nourriture plutôt bonne, le cuisinier aime visiblement sont métier, mais malgré tout les prix sont exagérés pour ce qui est proposé je trouve (presque 100€ à deux).
