This is an unassuming village restaurant, but its attention to detail and the quality produce used have made it regionally quite well known and brought about th... read more This is an unassuming village restaurant, but its attention to detail and the quality produce used have made it regionally quite well known and brought about the award of 13 out of 20 on the Gault-Millaut scale. They work mainly with local produce and fish...from the nearby lake, some dishes are traditional and some are quite up to date. The filet de perche or Eglifilets baked in a batter and served with tartar sauce are a swiss classic and I have naver been surved such a light, classy, tasty version. The wine selection is excellent, with many quality local bottles at reasonable prices. A really good place for a family sunday lunch, for example. The 90 minutes drive from Geneva or 30 minutes from Bern are easily worthwhile, especially if combined with a hike in a magnificient part of Switzerland.
