Great breakfast and lunch options. This has changed ownership but everything is the same. Great antiques everywhere that it make it such a charming atmosphere. The prices were reasonable. Portion sizes were just right. This was the best places out of the three we ate at during our two night stay. View all feedback.
What Franco Simonis doesn't like about Rendezvous Diner:
I was not impressed with the green chile grilled cheese sandwich. The cheese tasted like processed Velveeta and the overall sandwich was disappointing. I would consider ordering a different item from the menu next time. View all feedback.
The food was fantastic, the location was perfect, and the building was charming. We dined on the veranda while admiring the hummingbirds.

The Rendezvous, with its idyllic setting, has been our favorite place in Greer for over 25 years. Today's lunch told a different story. The server told me the grilled cheese sandwich used American Cheese. When I asked for cheddar, I got grated cheese. It wasn't well melted so I had to stuff cheese back in while eating. The side of pickle chips' were deep fried but the menu gave no indication they were fried. They were abysmal. I have had fried pickles elsewhere that were delicious. These were tiny pieces of pickle with a lot of breading. When I mentioned the pickle chip oddness to the server, she shrugged walked away. Husband's BBQ chicken sandwich was fine. With no beverages, our bill was over $30. It was a disappointment. We won't be back.
The best French bath (on Friday). the sauce is a bit thicker and super tasty. the breakfast is also wonderful. home did everything! They can't eat here. they could save a few pounds space for homemade desserts!
I have a soft spot for this charming local diner! They offer delicious breakfast and lunch options cooked in-house style with generous portions. Their homemade cobbler is a must-try and it feels like a meal cooked by your grandma. I enjoy dining on the terrace with a view of the pine trees.
