Every time I come to Greenwood to see my family, we have to make a stop here! The food is authentic and very tasty and the focus is the meal. It is not like the regular “Americanized” Mexican restaurants in that you don’t get chips and dip and so forth but the emphasis is on enjoying the meal, and they do a fine job there. Definitely recommend! View all feedback.
Great! Authentic Mexican cuisine. No chips and salsa, no margaritas... But the best and most authentic Mexican food in Greenwood. If you don't give it, you will miss the best authentic Mexican food in Greenwood and perhaps even in the state.
Great, super, super! This place is truly authentic Mexican cuisine, where mostly Mexican visits. Do not expect chips and salsa to be welcomed at the time of sitting. This place has about 10 tables. The small staff is very friendly and prompt. The food is simply prepared so that you can taste the freshness in their ingredients (no additives from Cisco or other food service). And the food is delicious! I had a beef taco for 1.50, and the Enchilada plate containing beans and rice for 8:50. Definitely not fancy, but the kindness of the staff and the camaraderie of the locals will definitely want to make you back. And the food... it's great!
I wanted to go through here. Allow me to finally try some Quesabirria Tacos. You were pretty good! We also had some Gorditas that were not bad, but could have used a tad more taste. The service was friendly and the place was full of Hispanic families (which seemed to be a good sign: Would definitely go back to try some more options! The prices seemed reasonable, and the checkout was easy. The servers spoke perfectly English, so no problem if you don't speak Spanish.
I'm from Illinois guest friends in town and the size is smaller than what I used here in my area of Illinois Burritos was small. tacos were great. nice dinning room, staff was nice, but hard to get their attention and the place was slow. I will publish pictures of what we have in Illinois for a Burrito. Rice water was also good. my friends enjoyed it and again I will also be when I return this way and I hope they have bigger burritos. Check this out of Illinois
