Standard Fish - Greenwich

The price for cod and chips has now increased to £12, which is too expensive for me. It seems like the restaurant is now targeting the affluent residents of Blackheath, who may only indulge in fish and chips occasionally. Unfortunately, it is no longer accessible for the average person. Disappointing.

Used to be the best now the quality is so poor. The amount of times they have dished up stale chips and it’s not till you get it home that you realise. More fool me for putting up with it. You may be lucky on a Friday for a fresh bag of chips. Looking forward to the opening of the kebab shop soon and fresh chips

This is an exceptional fish shop. I have been twice now when visiting my father. Each time the fish was dipped and cooked fresh. The fish was cooked perfectly delicate fish, crispy batter. The chips were superb. The fish is a good size. The large chips will feed at least two people!!!! I am from Brighton and the standards for fish suppers is high so I am not giving this shop top marks lightly. The staff are lovely too.

We’ve had several meals from this shop and all have been great quality and value. The service has also been first class as they’ve offered us to call them with 10 minutes notice to freshly cook us our favourite fish, haddock. We once were mistakenly given curry sauce instead of peas, mistakes happen. But they handled it really well and took care of us on our next visit. A great local business that is run with pride.

This is one of the best Fish and Chips in the area, the food is always fresh and really tasty. We always buy fish from here as they use fresh fish unlke other shops that often use frozen.(if you know your fish you will know what I mean). The chips are fantastic , always come out perfectly fried and really hot. Another of our favourites is the Spicy hot wings, tasty and a great value. The service is always friendly and polite , even when the shop is really busy. We have been coming here for a while and it is always consistantly good,the food is always good and the staff are great. Highly recommended.
