I stopped by for a comforting hot drink and snack after getting caught in a heavy downpour. The staff quickly seated me and handed me the menu. The items I ordered arrived promptly. While not the most affordable coffee shop, the quality was excellent. View all feedback.
What TheTruthAlways doesn't like about Le Pain Quotidien:
Came for a take away sandwich and a coffee and the waitress (Maria) was really not friendly. Maybe having a made day but if so that a failure of management to have her working there. Service is everything. A smile is free. Please train your staff better. Invoice Number 737571 View all feedback.
I was waiting for 20 minutes and nobody came to take my order. Walked out. Doubt any of the staff noticed.
I recently had the most delicious food in London at this restaurant. The service was amazing. The vegetarian brunch included a variety of breads, croissants, chocolates, fruits, juice, coffee, and scrambled eggs. I also ordered bacon on the side.

I must say, I'm surprised by some of the reviews. I agree that some branches can be hit or miss, but this particular one is great. I love the fact that they serve breakfast and brunch all day. The scrambled eggs were delicious, especially when I requested them without bread and with added roast mushrooms. The fresh orange juice and iced americano were both very refreshing. The food and drinks were presented beautifully and prepared fresh. The portions were generous. The staff were wonderful - very friendly and sweet, providing great service. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a lovely atmosphere. The wifi is fast and reliable, making it a great spot to work from home while enjoying a bite to eat or drink. They also have charging sockets available. The menu offers a variety of options, from salads to pastries, soups, tartines, and more. Overall, a nice place to dine and work from.
Agree wity many other reviews that the poor management and service let this café down. There 's a sign 'wait to be seated ', but staff completely neglect it and intentionally avoid looking at the people in the queue: after waiting a good 7 minutes, I asked if we had to keep waiting there or we could sit at one of the FREE tables. We were told to go ahead and sit down. What 's the point of keeping that sign out then? Either remove it or have a host. After ordering coffee and pastry, by the time we finished the pastry, the coffee finally arrived. Shouldn 't food (epecially since it 's not cooked food be served all together? When we went to pay, we showed the rewards on our app (2 x free hot drinks . The waitress started saying that we could only use one at time, because of how the system works (probably she hasn 't been trained on how to input two at the same time? . When I made her notice this was unacceptable, she replied we should have mentioned that when we ordered (WHICH WE DID . Ridiculous! Will never be back, not ever to use a free reward. This is how bad this café is. (Note: that 's not the case in other branches, like the Notting Hill one
