I met up with a group of friends at this restaurant last Saturday. The food was fantastic, each course was full of flavor, and the set menu was a great deal. The staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't have tickets to a show, we just came to the restaurant to hang out while a play was going on. The tables were nicely spaced out, so we were able to chat comfortably. It was a pleasant experience. View all feedback.

We booked afternoon tea in this restaurant, I can honestly say it was the worst afternoon tea we have ever had, absolutely disgusting, two small sandwiches each, white bread one was dry, the other sandwich filled with grated carrot!!!! Supposedly with hummus which I couldn’t...taste. Stromboli that was also very dry and a piece of pork pie all garnished with wilting greenery! Angel cake that was flavourless, a macaro... This restaurant is extremely convenient being at The National Theatre. We had the set menus. The food was nice but not amazing and the portions were just about enough. My chops were cold and had to be sent back. We were regular visitors to Mezzanine,...it’s predecessor, which was truly fantastic. This is not half as good and I wouldn’t rush back as there are other good restaurants near the theatre. The service was good. We had the set menu for two, bread and a portion of chips and a lager. The bill including service was
Always have a lovely dinner here. Staff are aware of time constraints with regards to theatre commitments. Food portions are ideal for pre theatre.
Really delicious and unusual food. Although the menu is short, there was still a good choice for vegetarians. Lovely, genuinely friendly staff.
We eat here regularly post theatre and really appreciate its lateish opening hours. it is not easy to find a good restaurant that is open after in London surprisingly. The food is fresh, excellent and interesting. The menu changes regularly enough to keep...us coming back and the wine list and service contribute to this. At our last visit we had the scallops, crispy mussels and pork belly main. it was just amazing and I hope it stays on the menu for a while so that I can have it again.
