We had a wonderful dinner for a party of four and truly enjoyed our time. I ordered the brisket sandwich, which was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The crab cake dinner was amazing as well—real crab meat! I also tried the BBQ chicken breast, and it was fantastic. Overall, a fantastic experience! View all feedback.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating my father's 80th birthday! The food and drinks were fantastic. Our servers, Jessica and CJ, were amazing. Thank you for your calm demeanor and patience with our large family. View all feedback.
Let me tell ya whether you were born in the south, love living in the south, or are visiting the south —. A stop by Smoke on the Water and a visit with my new best friend Emily is essential. It was a cold 34 degrees today in Greenville and the thought of warm pulled pork barbecue and delicious sides sounded extra appealing. A quick walk through Falls Park and the faint scent of barbecue sealed the deal! Emily greeted me with sass and awesomeness. I chose the 3 cheese Mac and Cheese divine), greens grandmother would be proud) and baked beans with brisket that would satisfy a Texan along with my pulled pork plate. It was perfect. The corn bread put it over the top. Fantastic location. Amazing foods. Order the mac and cheese, please! Ask for Emily! You’ll be super glad Smoke on the Water was your choice in downtown Greenville!
Highly recommend this gem in downtown Greenville! The food, ambience, presentation and service were all excellent! Our server Jada recommended the pimento cheese appetizer, the baked beans with brisket and the Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip Pie all were so good! She was so sweet and made us feel like family. The chicken salad, potato cake and Cuban were also delicious. To top it off, the prices were almost unbelievable. To get entrees of this calibre for less than $10??? Amazing! Definitely a new favorite!
Great service, server was very knowledgeable of the dishes. The brisket and chicken were our favorite meats. Spinach dip was tasty! Unfortunately the brisket was a little dry in parts because we got the edges, otherwise a very good meal.
We waited over an hour but once seated the waiter was prompt and friendly. They were packed!! My catfish was big, but lacked seasoning (my opinion). I thoroughly enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and pickled onions were amazing. My sister tried the brisket and was pleased! She said it was moist and had a nice flavor. For dessert I had the bourbon bread pudding. When I say YUMMY!! If I'm in the area again I'd give them a go, but if definitely arrive earlier.
Absolutely delicious! Excellent quality, fresh ingredients, friendly and efficient customer service, unique menu selection, all served in a casual but upscale clean family friendly environment! Bar Manager was super knowledgeable and very helpful about cider selection! Outdoor seating are dog friendly and perfect for the Carolina blue sky days!
