The staff is extremely courteous. The food exemplifies Eastern Carolina chopped pork barbecue and Southern fried chicken beautifully. The slaw pairs perfectly with the pork, while the hush puppies are decent and the cornmeal sticks are even better. The restaurant is very clean, and I appreciate their mission statement, as well as their commitment to and proud display of Christian principles and Biblical verses. The tea is excellent as well. I've been dining at their Memorial Drive location on and off for the past 25-30 years during my visits to Greenville or Farmville.

Delicious food and fantastic service! Our server was outstanding—very knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. This was my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last!

I've tried BBQ from various locations, including BBQ cook-offs in Charlotte, Lexington NC, South Carolina, and local spots in the Gastonia area. Parkers BBQ sauce has a distinctive flavor that I really enjoy, and their slaw is fantastic—it's truly great. Like many excellent eateries, the emphasis here is on the food rather than the ambiance. The food is simply outstanding.

I organized a 70th birthday party for my father, expecting about 60 guests, and was quoted one price initially. However, when the meal was over and I went to settle the bill, the amount was significantly higher. One of the owners, Billy Parker, insisted that I must have misunderstood and demanded that I pay the new price without any negotiation. I have decided I will never dine at Parker's again, and neither will any of the guests from the party. I strongly recommend that anyone looking to book an event at Parker's BBQ gets a written quote detailing the prices and included services; otherwise, you might end up getting taken advantage of!

I had a disappointing experience at Parkers BBQ, and I won't be returning. The food was cold; the chicken was so greasy that I had to use a paper towel to blot it. The barbecue was mushy, and when I expressed my concerns to the owner, Billy Parker, he told me that this is just how they serve their food. He suggested that if I didn't like it, I should find somewhere else to eat! I couldn't believe it. Overall, I was very let down.
