What a fabulous time out with my husband tonight! The food was authentic Greek and not the americanized Greek served at other local restaurants in the region. Our server Logan was refreshing, warm, and personable and truly made the experience even better. He answered all our questions and if he didn 't know, he didn 't hesitate to get an answer for us. We started with the app dampler which included 2 spanakopita, 2 k... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Greektown Grille:
Unfortunately the pastichio which I was so looking forward to the most was over cooked , dry with hardly any cheese but everything else was delicious. I called to inquire about it and was told it was fresh and they had sold a lot .Customer Service doesn?t seem to be able to take criticism and treated me like that?s just the way it is.Obviously no Consistency, just take a chance on the way it?s made .Everything else w... Great food! Highly recommend this place if you like Greek food very good authentic!
My wife told me she found a nice Greek Restaurant a little off the main drag in downtown Greenville. Greek Restaurant she said? 'I 'm in! ' So just East of Church St. on McBee we pull up to the restaurant with plenty of parking. As we passed through the front doors we were warmly greeted by the hostess and owner/manager. The interior decor was spot on with large paintings of the scenery of Greece. The Restaurant was very clean and our waitress was very attentive. The wife ordered a Greek beer (Fix that she loved. They only have beer and wine so don 't expect a full liquor bar. We started our meal with a flaming cheese appetizer (don 't know the name, but it was delicious! Dinners come with a choice of soup or salad. I chose the the lemon/orzo soup my wife the Greek dinner salad. Both were tasty. For dinner I picked the Gyro dinner (of course with my bride choosing the night special dish of Shrimp on Rotellini with a cheese sauce. Both came with a side (me: Greek style green beans, Wife: fried zucchini with a dipping sauce . Be prepared to take home a doggy box because the portions are big. We were offered desert, but we were full to the brim from dinner. The little woman decided at the last minute to take home a Greek wedding cookie to snack on later. Our dinner experience there was fun and we recommend it to anyone wanting to 'Get their Greek on! ' We 'll be back.
This place is fabulous! The gyros are so yummy. The place is really clean and the staff is very friendly. Greek music playing in the background, beautiful art on the walls. My husband is a man of few words, but he goes on and on about this place!
We're new to the area. My husband is originally from Chicago and we've been missing a good Saganaki. He happened to come across Greektown Grille during his daily errands and immediately sent me the menu. Of course, we tried it and my goodness, everything was great! From the Flaming Saganaki appetizer to perfectly seasoned fries. Our table had the lamb burger, the gryo melt and the traditional gryo sandwich. We'll most definitely be back!!!!
I am Greek. I have grown up with authentic Greek food for 50+ years. This is always some of the best Greek food anywhere! Yasoo
