Crazy Cuban Cafe - Greenville

Step 1: Buy a bathtub. Step 2: Place an order of black beans large enough to fill the bathtub. Step 3: Enjoy! In all seriousness, I try Cuban places for the Cuban sandwich. My wife, being half Cuban, always gets a side of black beans and rice. We regularly make her recipe for black beans and enjoy them, so we always try them to see where hers stack up. This is the first time we've truly been blown away by the flavor and cook of black beans anywhere but home. They are absolutely flavorful and delicious. The Cuban sandwich is also delicious, but we were very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the black beans are here. We will definitely be back!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and we would go back! The croquestas tasted fresh made and they were so creamy and warm on the inside. We ordered two sandwiches, the Pan con Bistec and the Cuban, and we couldn’t believe how HUGE they were when they were served to us! Really gigantic! And so delicious, I’m actually eating my leftovers for lunch as I write this. Great little place, great authentic food, great value. Definitely recommend!

Recently became addicted to this place. Same prices as the ‘other’ Cuban place but usually no wait, and the food is way fresher and tastes more authentic. Huge portion on the Palomillo. Try any of the juices, they’re awesome too. Glad to have a place like this near my work.

First time eating here. Myself, my wife and son absolutely loved it. The food was very tasty and well prepared, the roasted pork and black beans were phenomenal. Finished it off with a colada and a cafe con leche, love Cuban coffee. Very friendly staff and great service. Very clean with a family feel. Will probably become a new favorite place to go. Certainly will be back.

This resturant is incredible!! Great family run place truly authentic food! Massive portions on the entrees (and I'm an eater for sure haha). I got the Bistec de Palomilla (steak) and my wife got the Rabo Encentido (pxtail Saturday special). The meat portions were cooked to perfection and so flavorful! Best black beans I've ever had. Both the fried and sweet plantains were so delicious. Service was very attentive and felt genuine and very prideful to share their culture. Dessert pastries- guava y queso, and coconut filled danishes were out of this world. A top hole in the wall place for sure! Great price point, right off Pleasantburg. Atmosphere is like a vacation. Must return and try it all.
