What Roxy McMahon doesn't like about Crab Du Jour:
I don't like seafood, but my husband does! He said it was just ok. My choices were limited to one item, chicken sliders. They served wine in champagne flutes, as they did not have any wine glasses! Pricey, for a couple of swallows. Come on.... Dollar tree has wine glasses! We really liked our server, Tequila! View all feedback.
Disappointed in the menu, the parking lot was full but the restaurant was not even 1/2 full. Ordered garlic butter steamed oysters. The oysters were raw, whole sliced garlic raw bulbs and the butter was brown , more of the consistency of oil not melted butter. Horrible after taste. Dont waste your time.
The service and atmosphere was amazing. Definitely southern hospitality. The food and music was good as well.For non-seafood lovers, the lemon pepper wings are a good choice.
We came looking for a reasonably priced seafood lunch while out shopping. We found it at Crab Du Jour and then some. It is not a fancy restaurant. Service by Monica was considerate and friendly. Most of the food was delicious and well prepared. The fried oysters were overly breaded, but otherwise very good. Spicing was distinct, but not overbearing.
Crab Du Jour is delicious! Drove 40mins from Anderson to give this place a try and it was worth it. I got it to go but I will be back this weekend to dine in. I got Cajun and garlic butter, the serving size is good, food was still warm when I got back home and I was able to split it with my wife. They even do military discount!
Oh my goodness!! I don't have to go all the way to Murrell's Inlet for a good low country boil any more!!The scallops almost melt in your mouth! The crab was delicious! And that sauce, WOW!! These guys know what they're doing. The service was great and we didn't wait long for anything. We will definitely be back!!
