Contribute Feedback What Steven Stuglin likes about City Tavern:
The staff here is great, but the evening music and DJ play tracks from 25 years ago at an extremely loud volume, with speakers positioned just 10 feet away from the bar stools. However, the slush drinks are definitely worth a visit—make sure to try the Creamsicle flavor! View all feedback.
What Paul SC doesn't like about City Tavern:
I didn't have food this time, but it has been good in the past. Service was great, but the huge bar only had like 8 stools. Maybe some were out for repair because it will fit at least 20. View all feedback.
Came here Saturday night after we left Neat to celebrate my birthday a few days early. I was introduced into the Tide/Paladin lamp. What a great idea! The music was on the spot and City Tavern is just a great place.
After we were disappointed at Sharkeys, we were stumbled over this little place! Good moods, delicious drinks and the prices were reasonable! Only what we lacked was an order of the Pommes
5 Dive Bar Stars! If your looking for refined, go elsewhere. But, if you want strong slushies, music to dance to, and friends to laugh with than you will love City Tavern.
Frozen slushy drinks are a must. Also might add, some of the best bar food I have ever had. Actually decided to go here a few times strictly for dinner! Fried pickles and Cajun Philly cheesesteak are both exceptional.
This is always our first stop in Greenville! M-F happy hour with awesome deals; see pic. Frozen drinks are all great, I’ve had every one of them. The bartender is super cool and she’s always friendly. We’ve had a handful of appetizers and all are tasty Outside seating too.
