Sassafras Southern Bistro - Greenville

I had the ribeye with brussel sprouts, it was delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Went Wednesday night for an early Mother's day celebration. I had the Pecan Crusted Trout Special with green beans and Brussel sprouts. I had never had trout before but this dish was absolutely amazing and had a Granny Smith apple butter glaze. My fiancé had the Ribeye with the Parmesan risotto which was also amazing. Our friend had the Sassafrass Fried Chicken which was equally as tasty. Two of our entrees came with a delicious hushpuppy. We ended the night with two desserts: the Brownie with ice cream and the beignets. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the great food and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning soon!

Always enjoy visiting Sassafras, management is so good here. The service team is always smiling and in a good mood. You get the feeling everyone helps everyone here. The food is delicious, and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity not to mention being downtown. Highly recommend!

Delicious, I have tried 3 restaurants while down here in Greenville. Ivy ink, nose dive, and Sassafras. SASSAFRAS hit the spot. I fell in love with shrimp and Grits. I'm going back before I leave this town....

Husband and I loved the she crab soup, salad, and pecan crusted trout along with the service and atmosphere at our first time visiting beautiful downtown Greenville, SC We will be back!
