We were there for Valentine's Day and they had a VERY limited menu, but the food we ate was very good. I did not realize that they do not serve any alcohol until we got there so we ended up buying a bottle of wine next door and bringing it in, which worked out well, but I wish I had known ahead of time View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mary's at Falls Cottage:
Go for the fantastic view and the incredible grits. Don’t expect too much from other brunch offerings. Meal pace is relaxed (read slower service). At least the staff was friendly when we had to request they take an omelet back for being undercooked. They aim to please. Sit outside if you go, indoors feels a bit cramped. The history and location of this restaurant is why people go. Fills up fast during peak times. View all feedback.
My family and fell in love with this cute little restaurant. We got to sit on the patio which overlooks Falls Park. It was a beautiful place to have a great lunch. <br/ <br/ The service was fantastic and the food was really great as well.
Didn't realize I showed up as they were taking their last seating. As a former server, I know how annoying that can be. They accommodated me anyway. Had a wonderful salad plate on the back deck. The black-eyed pea salad is wonderful. Will definitely be back when I return to Greenville. Great service.
OMG the Potato Salad!!!. I haven't been here for quite sometime, but when the first nice weekend rolled around we headed downtown for a stroll. At 1:30 the wait for a patio table was still 30 40 minutes! We opted to sit inside and were seated in about 10 minutes. Service was fantastic friendly and efficient (and we are NOT Southerners, btw) andthe food fantastic as well.My friend and I shared Fried Green Tomato/Goat Cheese Sandwich and the Crab Cake Sandwich, and our other friend got the Eggs Benedict. WOW, WOW, WOW!!<br/ But... the Bacon Ranch Potato salad was indescribable the best I have EVER had !I even got a side of it to go!!<br/ I wanted to go back this weekend but knew downtown was going to be packed again, SO I am making the 25 minute drive this week because I have got to have more of that potato salad! It it like none you have ever tasterd!!
Pricey, but a nice atmosphere. We had the eggs Benedict the pumpkin bread French toast both were excellent.
Great place to eat, very professional staff, this restraunt is located at the most beautiful part of Greenville. You can enjoy a great lunch and take a stroll in beautiful Falls Park. Great atmosphere. One of my favorite restraints in Greenville.
