Taco Bill Mexican Restaurants

A necessary public service announcement your main meals are microwaved! I don't like leaving negative feedback but this one takes the cake. We thought we would grab a bite at Taco Bill Greensborough on Friday night for something different and we heard the restaurant...is under new management. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered two taco entrees, two mains with a side of chip and two ciders. The tacos arrived on one plate no plates for us to use so we had to ask. I ordered the Burrito bowl and my partner ordered the mixed enchiladas they came out on a scalding hot plate and were microwaved, tasteless and the meat fillings were almost pureed. The chips were hot but soggy. When we asked for the bill, it came out in a black restaurant bill holder which was dirty and greasy. For the quality of the food, we felt we paid too much. The tables, plates and cutlery were clean. Sorry but we will not be coming back to this restaurant.

I would not recommend dining at Taco Bill's Greensborough unless you don't mind having your meal microwaved. The quality of a microwaved meal from a restaurant is very poor. Serving customers microwaved meals should not be acceptable. I only gave one star for the water served, which I suspect may be from the tap.

Used our Groupon voucher (pay spend for group of of us. Our main waitress was fantastic, being polite, smiley and helpful but the other staff we had were all unfriendly, disinterested and slow, even when we said it was the birthday...of of our group. Our mains came out before they'd even bothered to clear our entree plates, which had been sitting there a good while! Food was good though and the nachos were great, nice and cheesey, not dry like lots of other Mexican places.

I come here often and always leave happy and full. The staff are helpful and the food is great and there is always plenty of it.

Compared to other Taco Bill restaurants, the Greensborough location appears to have very bland food. The beef burrito had a small amount of cheese sauce on the outside and the Mexican rice was tasteless. Ditto for the chicken enchilada. Could have done with a dose...of Tabasco to improve the flavour. A minimal amount of salsa was provided for the free corn chips so we had to ask for more. On the bright side, staff are friendly. In relation to location, there is plenty of parking in the immediate area. One more thing to note; The Airconditioning wall unit above the window was excessively dirty and appears to have not been cleaned in quite some time. I’ll go back to other Taco Bill restaurants, but not the one in Greensborough.
