large overall danny experience. the chicken wings and the laab were both good recommendations from the waitress. the food came out quite quickly. they love the seasoning options when they are in warmth. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lao Restaurant And Bar:
Servers were nice but service was very slow. Very small food menu. Sausage was overcooked and dry but flavorful. The sauce on the food overpowered the protein, the duck was overcooked. No sides came with the traditional entrees and we had to ask to add rice to our order. We have been excited to try this spot but unfortunately will not be back. Beautiful location, we spent just over $100 for two people. View all feedback.

Wayyyyyy overpriced for appetizer portions. On top of that, you can tell that the cuisine is tamped down for its clientele making the food only a bad imitation of Laotian recipes. Severely disappointed in this place. For reference, I had the Laab and papaya salad. Have found way better versions with larger portions for half the price at the local Hmong New Year and other restaurants. Go elsewhere if you want the real thing.
The family really enjoyed eating here. the noodles were boiled al dente and the taste of the plate was excellent. the money bags were delicious. note that the pictures of eating were made after everyone had begun to dig it (they could not wait! . highly recommended. the service was also excellent!
The first time was there. my son who lives in greensboro was recommended by friend, and he took us while we visited him. the restaurant was in the middle of the city with so many other restaurants. the entrance was quite small, but after long corridors the dining room was there. it was our first time to eat a laotic meal. So we asked for recommendations. the whole food was quite spicy, but it was really delicious. we finally ordered sticky mango rice. it was sweet and very nice.
Large raised chain of laotian inspired directed. the food was excellent and the service excellent. their special cocktails are also winners. the barkeep robert is an expert mixologist and spirituosen knowr. fantastic experience and recommend to anyone looking for Southeast Asian inspired dishes in the inner city of greensboro.
