I cant say enough nice things about this place! I have been seeing their food pictures posted on Facebook for sometime so I visited for first time on 4-22-17 and had a wonderful experience! The wait staff was totally 5star! The food gave my wife goosebumps on her arm it was so good! Our waitress, Ashley, was so kind to us, She is really a top notch server and a rare find! My new FAVORITE place to eat!!!!! View all feedback.
Great place. Because it hone Tuen cooking and intimate, it can be a wait for a table, but Soooooo worth it. Food is fresh and delicious, the staff friendly, and the price above average but affordable (and worth every cent). Saturday breakfast fast til 2pm is the best.

The food was great. Our first time visiting. Waited about 30 minutes. But worth the wait. Small place not a lot of tables. I suppose once it gets warmer and the tables outside open maybe the wait will be better. But I would definitely recommend
We have been to Iron Hen twice this month, one brunch, one dinner. A little more dining out than average for us lately, but we have had little use of our kitchen. The brunch we both ordered the hash, but wish we had gotten some pancakes on one order and shared. Great tasting hash, though the Mrs' is better. Previously, I have had their shrimp and grits, which are the best I have had in the triad. Have to drive to Saxapahaw General Store to get the ones I like best. Last night we went in for dinner and they were out of a few items but we both decided on sandwiches. I had meatloaf, Tina the rueben. Both sides of the gouda mac and cheese which was awesome. We halved the sandwiches to get a bit of both and the were super tasty. Again, nods the to wife on a better meatloaf, may just need to learn that wrapped in bacon thing. Followed up with the banana pudding which was a nice ending on the warm spring day.
Went to Iron Hen two nights ago with my fiancé...Niki was our server. She was super friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable. The food was mouth-watering, and there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. A new favorite and we will absolutely be back!
