What TimS doesn't like about Giovanni's Restaurant:
Hostess had no organization for sitting guests other than by her recollection. She did not take names nor did she have a reservation list. This was disappointing since I made the reservation before the New Year. Most menu items were unavailable and several upcharges were mentioned. Our first time there and it was great! Food was good. Atmosphere was really nice.
We celebrated our friend's birthday. The whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday.
I feel like , we were a bother. They were not busy. The waiter was missing in action, several times.
Quiet relaxing dinner with great service and quiet ambiance.
Service was terrible. They forgot drinks, took 40 minutes to come back to the table. The food was ok and the ambiance looked extremely sad. For a restaurant so close to the convent center it should be amazing across the board. You’d be packed all the time.
