What dulce miranda doesn't like about El Mariachi Seafood, Grill:
Too salty! This food gave me a headache the content of salt was overwhelming and I was starving so..yeah. First I was given a menu and I turned to the back and saw the lunch menu was $7.99? And when I chose the pick 2 it ended up being $10.99 instead. I was told that due to Covid-19 prices have gone up. I do understand that, but when you hike up the food prices by $3 at least make it worth it. The size of the quesadi... View all feedback.
After visiting the Asian market down the street, we decided to try this spot for lunch yesterday. I had lunch carnitas and my husband had tacos. Unfortunately my carnitas consisted of mostly tough pork and a good bit of fat. Fat I definitely expect with carnitas; however the parts that were meat were dry and chewy. My husband said his tacos had no flavor. For three tacos and lunch carnitas waters we were $28. Overall pretty disappointing. :
I love this restaurant but after reading these reviews I decided not to go. We live 1.5 hours away in Hickory and this is very special to us. Oh well, sorry your business has gone done the tubes.
El Mariachi Luna Mexican restaurant in the Sedgefield Crossing Plaza. The service here was outstanding today. The complimentary chips were not fresh or salty enough but the salsa was outstanding. It was more like Pico de Gallo and very tasty. My entree was Pollo a la diabla and was remarkable. The sauce was not for the tenderfoot and the heat continually grew. When the chicken was gone I put my Mexican rice in there to get all of it. It was sweet and hottt. Also on the plate was steamed veggies that were good dipped in the sauce. There was also shredded lettuce and a slice of tomato. The sweet tea was spot on. This dish also had a choice of corn or flour tortillas. Well done
I love there live music nights and I’ve gone there many times whenever they play live music, that’s actually how I discovered them. Whenever we walked in, there is no sign anywhere indicating they accept ONLY cash payments. We we’re told this whenever we starting ordered drinks at the bar an hour after arriving; without giving us the option of opening a tab until after our third order did they offer us this option and on the reciept it clearly has a QR code to accept Apple Pay payments. Once we notified the bar associate we were going to pay through the QR code she said OH YEAH surprise we knew about that option. With this being a latin restaurant and knowing many Latin folks don’t know how to read English is extremely deceiving and quiet unfortunate for them to be treating our own people like this just to use there ATMS and paying for external fees considering not many people carry cash anymore. Whenever receiving our meal tab the waitress said the system that prints the QR tab was not working tonight even though we literally just paid at the bar with it. It’s the principal that they choose to lie and deceive their clients on this is extremely disappointing.Once we left there was a sign saying cash only at the front door which was not there when we first got there.
