Carolina’s diner was great to eat at. Especially with the many different meal sets that they have. You’ll find something that you can eat. I ordered a la carte this time with 4 pancakes, bacon, sausage, grits, and orange juice. The server kept us in a great mood with a welcoming entrance and a warming departure. The food was pretty good being fact everything is fresh and handmade. I just feel like prices are a bit expensive regarding how even lunch specials feel like there's no special as if you're just paying a nomarl price for. The only things that were cheap on the menu were the breakfast items or lunch combined with breakfast items, which seemed fair and understandable being fact said it's breakfast compared to lunch and dinner options. Our waiter was nice but only came over two times refilling our water one time. I just felt maybe as if she should've come over a bit mire to just at least check up on everything and see how we were doing. My dish had a long piece of girls hair in it that I had to take the slice of onion off because it was touching the whole thing wrapped around almost. The environment was sorta dirty here and there, and some tables were not cleaned until people actually sat down at them, so as some chairs. Some workers were doing a lot of gossip talking and talking about random people they saw and met, which was kinda awkward and very loud while everyone was eating in most silence. I'd come again but not for a while and hope to see the place be in a bit better shape than this first-time experience here.
I just moved to Greensboro and I saw a diner across the street but they weren't taking anymore orders because it was 835p. So I Googled diners and up pooped this lil fun place. Honestly there were plenty of other places I could've gone to right around my immediate area but I chose to go to Carolina's (they close at 10p even though their receipt says 24hrs).I was surprised that everything seemed fresh. I got the smash burger and a side salad. The burger was juicy and tasty. What really was a surprise was the salad, it was fresh crisp romaine with cucumber, tomato and shredded cheese. I wasn't expecting that at all at that time of day but it was fabulous. I almost ordered the grilled chicken salad but didn't because I didn't think the lettuce would be as fresh as it was. I do have to admit that GPS didn't quite get me there but got me in the vicinity. This location is on the back side kinda facing Walmart Market and next to an Italian restaurant. So glad I didn't give up looking for it. Thanks for a great meal and it was about $20 w tip. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp right outside the diner and there's also a table or 2, so you could easily take away a chair and wheel up in a wheelchair.
First time. Late breakfast and both my wife and I loved the food and service. Very short wait time between ordering and food arriving.
The staff are friendly and the food is good. My okra was a little burnt, but everything else was good.
