We had a reservation for 14 people for a birthday party at 230p. to no time we were informed if the reservation that service ends at 15 o'clock and the restaurant cleansed up by 5 o'clock with dinner menu. We were told if we were not ordering food immediately from the brunch menu, we would leave all ti and return to dinner. we didn't want our guests to wait 2.5 hours. the food was disappointing for the price. I ordered lobster pots. it came in a soup bowl and tasted like the corn kitchen, which was served with 1 piece of lobster meat and puff pastries on the top. if it wasn't at $36 price it would have been okay. my sohn commanded clampasta, which was very small for the price and had only 3 cuddles up with some minted cuddles. we were discharged and could not order a desert or coffee. I felt bad for our guests who traveled most from the state. we went to a coffee shop after our meal. in general was disappointed when my wife loving memories grew up to claudios and had asked to go for her 60th birthday
My man and I went to the birthday dinner after greenport. we decided to go to claudio. eating was fair and the service was terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant and I will certainly not return.
Staff was very accommodating, we arrived about an hour early and they were able to seat us right away which was fantastic. Food was very good. Service was very good( Matt was our server. We thought it was odd they give everyone a very cute bread plate and butter knife but no bread. We did order the biscuits, but I think it's pretty lame when you need to purchase bread which should be complimentary. But for the most part we had a very enjoyable meal! We sat a high top table and the bar stools were especially comfy. I do miss the old world decor, but if I don't compare the renovated restaurant to the old place, I like it. Just not nearly as warm and cozy (especially in chilly weather! as the old decor.
U kno what it was a pretty good meal. I got the mushroom risotto and that was bangin, and the oysters were fire. Drinks were nice as well. Service was really good, prices a bit exorbitant. Worth a visit
My friends invited us for a boat ride from Connecticut this weekend, and it was really nice. When we pulled into the dock, I was excited to see Claudio's- had heard about the place before. I was starving, and figured I'd get some good seafood for lunch- Iordered their sampler platter for $35....Flounder, shrimp, clam strips, scallops....you know- typical fisherman's platter. Well,as soon as it was set on the table before me, my heart sank. Frozen. May as well of been Gordon's from the case at the grocerystore....Lesson learned- do your research. By the way, the atmosphere was great, as was the company. So, first-world problem. But man...the food sucked.
