As you walk up to the entrance, there is an industrial stainless steel kitchen vent on the side of the wall, that has a beautifully cascaded, waterfall-like, (but frozen in time) very thick wave/blanket of grease that comes out of the bottom part of it, crept down the wall managed to have reached the ground a few times... It truly is a sight to behold, I don't know why I didn't take a picture, but you've all gotta see this. I'm being serious, would I lie to you??

Run by a husband and wife team that puts out great food and drinks with the entertainment and hospitality you would expect from a small town bar. Soup and sandwiches come fast and are terrific. The prices are amazingly low too! On Saturday's and Sunday's you can get buckets of chicken to go or eat them at your table. Nothing special fixing wise, but the chicken is just great! Ask about the Shake of the Day or other bar games!

We had the boasted chicken boasted potatoes which were amazing!! The old fashioned were amazing just like the old fashioneds I remembered of up north goodnes!! Soooo good!! Highly recommended the trip to Wayside. Just remember they only take cash that's just fine w/me!! Hope the new owners keep the great food quality. I will be back even if it's a carry out.

When you go to the entrance, there is an industrial stainless steel kitchen venting on the side of the wall, which has a beautifully cascaded, waterfall-like, (but frozen in time) very thick wave/chain of fat that comes from the lower part of it, scattered the wall have reached to reach the Earth a few times... It's really a sight to see, I don't know why I didn't make a picture, but you all have to see it. I'm serious, would I lie to you?

They have that perfect small town bar ambience. If you leave here feeling unsatisfied it's because your significant other made you leave early.
