We had been here before and enjoyed it. On our way to our condo and stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Pretty small place and it was absolutely packed. Got the last table. We both started out with soup, all homemade. Could make a meal of just that. We split a sandwich which was pretty big. And my husband had to have a piece of coconut cream pie. Sadly this place has gone down hill. We recently waited around an hour for our food. The only drinks the waitresses were keeping up with refills was coffee. My wife and I had to ask for refills on soda and water. Our kids were getting restless waiting for our food. Even our soup and appetizer came when our food did not before. View all feedback.

This is one of our favorite cafes, anywhere! They serve homemade bread, soup, and pies, along with great food and friendly hometown service. The prices are very reasonable, like they're from 2005! The only downside is that the food can take a while to be delivered, but it's definitely worth the wait.

Amazing food at an amazing price. This place reminds me of a few place my grandparents would take me as a kid. And that is a very good thing. The breakfasts I've had have been excellent as well as the double cheeseburger, cheese curds, and apple pie I had today. A free glass of milk with breakfast or scoop of ice cream with pie is rare and a nice surprise. Just remember to bring cash. They do not accept cards. Service has also been excellent.

I think this is the best breakfast in Brown County! Homemade bread for toast, touch of vanilla in the pancakes (and they are big! The food prices are like 25 years old! I forgot the pictures...again. Dang I'll just have to go back to update this review.

The place was busy. This was not our first time here. We came back because the food and service was always excellent. This time not so much.
