The steaks in their fancy oven were quite awful. Truly hard to eat some parts of them as it truly tasted like you were eating charcoal. These babys were crispy. The staff was friendly and helpful, around as much as you’d expect and the drinks were good. Likely won’t be returning anytime soon.

Almost $600 for dinner (6 people/3 cocktails , French onion soup was awful, 3 of the steaks were cooked wrong, food was luke warm, and couldn’t get the waitress back to even let her know. (We’ve never had service like that at any Bartolotta restaurant ! I realize that many restaurants struggle these days for good help but at those prices, you need to step up your game both in the kitchen and on the floor! We’ll be hard pressed to return anytime soon.

We had to start the 18oz Ribeye, Shrimp Penne ala Vodka and the soul-red Scallops. They caught wind that we celebrated so they put the cherry on their head with their lemon skirt and ice cream dessert. It was all delicious. Nice touch!

Despite initially deciding never to return, we were pleasantly surprised by our recent visit. The service and food were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. As it was a weeknight, the restaurant was not very busy, allowing our waiter to give us more attention and make our anniversary celebration feel special.

I had a glass of Soda Rock cabernet, which was really good. They had a nice selection of local beers. My husband thought the Prime Rib was just okay, but we are partial to The Corner House's Prime Rib in Racine, WI. Overall, we had a really nice dinner and will definitely return.

The first time, a few months ago, I ordered a burger cooked medium, but it was overcooked. They brought me a replacement, but it was also well done. The server comped the meal without me even asking, acknowledging that it was unacceptable to serve food incorrectly. On my birthday, I gave them another chance and ordered the tavern steak, which was inedible. It was charred and tasted like lighter fluid - my husband couldn't even swallow it. I mentioned the issue to the staff, and they offered to remake the dish, but I was too sick from the taste in my mouth and didn't have time to wait for another meal. They comped the steak, but didn't follow up to redeem my rewards and seemed to avoid us afterwards. The only positives were the drinks and dessert, while the chicken my husband had was good but overpriced. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I don't have much faith in the restaurant improving. Even my friend had a bad experience on their last visit. It's disappointing to see a once great eatery fall from grace.

The food is delicious and Jody, our server, is always friendly and times everything perfectly so that we can enjoy conversations with our grandkids. Every meal at Joey Gerard's is a delightful experience.

Felt tricked into spending $20 for a glass of wine that was described as a house wine (so 2 glasses of wine each for me and my friend was a surprise $80!!! . I never imagined it would be $20 a glass as compared to those listed on the menu. My mistake but ultimately felt manipulated. I did like the pacing of the food and drinks. Our meal with dessert (which was the best part took about two hours which was nice. I literally had a nightmare about the wine pricing

Our waiter, Jason, was incredible and clearly had years of experience. He split our bill separately for each of us and we decided to share the Schaum torte, which he divided evenly among us on our bills. The food, including the cocktails, was amazing.
