About 20 minutes after we were seated, other guests began arriving, yet no one was placed in the area where we were sitting until we were leaving. I requested to speak with a manager, but they weren't available. A senior employee came to apologize, but it didn't help the situation. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We arrived for our 11 AM reservation only to find the doors locked and the restaurant closed, despite the sign indicating they were open (according to the January hours). We had planned to take our daughter to lunch during our visit to DePauw, and we were very disappointed.
Incredible! The food is outstanding, and the desserts are fantastic!

I honestly can't say enough good things!!! We had Abagayle as our waitress, and she is such an absolute GEM!!! The food was excellent the dessert was exceptional! Not only that, but because of Abagayle, we had a breeze handling all of our kids, too! She brought them a BOX of crayons and pages to color plus a cookie for the 3 older ones so they wouldn't eat MY dessert LOL!! AND, she changed the TV station to Bubble Guppies for our 1 year old! (That was probably not normal, but no one else was in the area we were in so it worked and we didn't even ask her to do it she just did it My only issue is that this is a one of a kind restaurant, and we don't have one at home , so it looks like we'll be coming back to Indiana!!! Kid friendliness: Well, I brought my 5 kids ranging from 3 month old twins to an 8 year old and they were perfectly fine!
