**Discovering the Best Fish and Chips: A Culinary Journey**
Nestled in the heart of Queensland, this fish and chip shop is revered for its exceptional calamari, tender fish, and crispy chips, often enhanced with chicken salt. While consistency is a forte, occasional lapses in seasoning and ingredient quality have been noted. Diners appreciate the reasonable prices and the indulgent deep-fried Mars bars, a true crowd-pleaser. While a few patrons have raised concerns about service and menu inconsistencies, the overall experience remains delightful for many. For a satisfying seafood feast, this establishment continues to be a local favorite among fish and chip enthusiasts.

By far the best seafood feast I've ever experienced! The seafood platter for two, priced at $34.90, was delightful and I enjoyed every single bite. I will definitely dine here again and will recommend it to my friends!
This restaurant serves the best salt and pepper calamari. However, it can sometimes be a bit too salty, depending on who prepares it. The fish is good as well, but make sure to specifically request battered, as many places nowadays tend to offer crumbed unless you ask for battered. The chips are usually quite tasty too, especially with the chicken salt.
I've been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and it's become my family's favorite. We always place phone orders during busy times. Recently, they opened a new juice bar and coffee shop a couple of months ago, which I discovered after my workout last Saturday. The juice is always fresh, and the coffee is fantastic and very affordable. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating from me and the kids!
This place has really gone off since the new owners have taken over. Everyone can have a bad day, so I don’t leave a bad review on the basis of one experience, but I have been here three times now and each one has been disappointing. I ordered (and paid for) barramundi but got cod. When I called them I was told that I had received barramundi, but it is a different taste and texture so, no, it was cod. Chip portions are smaller than before, but price is the same, and the food tasted like the oil needed changing.
