Polo Chef
Description
Beloved by locals for authentic Argentine and European pastries, empanadas, excellent coffee and celebratory cakes, this owner-run bakery-café serves standout takeout and cozy dine-in fare. Friendly, community-minded service and perfected recipes keep regulars returning and newcomers raving. However, recent concerns about restroom access, hand-sanitizer availability and overall sanitation temper praise—visitors love the food and hospitality but should be aware of hygiene practices before dining.

Polo Chef is definitely my go-to spot whenever I crave a café con leche and biscochos! I visit often from New England and always enjoy going there with my family whenever I'm in Florida.
Great customer service and their cafe con leche was perfection. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I was very disappointed with my visit to Polo Chef. I stopped by to grab coffee and pastries during my drive, but after being on the road for an hour, I was refused access to the restroom to wash my hands. If you're serving food and drinks, it's crucial to allow customers to use the restroom for basic hygiene. Especially now, when handwashing before eating and drinking is more important than ever, denying restroom access is unacceptable. At minimum, there should be hand sanitizer available for customers purchasing food and drinks. What measures do you take to maintain cleanliness? Do you regularly disinfect door handles and other high-touch surfaces? It's worrisome to let customers in without enforcing proper hygiene protocols. The overall cleanliness of the place also left much to be desired. In sum, my experience here was quite unsatisfactory.
