Hubby wanted to surprise me after a really bad day. My usual place is closed until dinner hours, so he brought me a California roll and an Alaskan roll from here, along with a miso soup. He kept scrutinizing my every bite. I paid no mind, and kept eating. I love the spicy fish inside the Alaskan roll so much! The rolls are very generous in size and super fresh. The miso soup was even more flavorful than my usual plac... View all feedback.
This restaurant is no longer located inside of the grocery store and is a stand alone business. I'm happy for them they deserve it and have a wonderful product and great prices.
Happy to find sushi n go in Norwalk! Plenty of parking shared with other businesses. They are located right next to 7 eleven. I frequented their previous location in Torrance inside S mart. We love the hand roll options here, no fuss or frills just straight up good sushi. The owners are very friendly and kind. Packaging up your to go order quickly with the needed chopsticks and soy sauce and napkins everyone needs. I believe the husband is in the back prepping all your food. We tried dining in one time and that experience was just ok. Everything was still served in to go containers so I think my brain is set on this place being a carry out or to go only option for us. We really enjoy the food though! We order here 2-3 times a month.
Delicious local sushi spot. This is not a sit down place, it's a carry out restaurant. The owner is very nice and service is quick. Excellent prices.
Pretty plentiful for a neighborhood sushi place. Their rolls are big and generous. We probably ordered way too much. The spicy tuna here is actually pretty spicy.Prices are super reasonable. I can see why people like this place so much. The owners are very kind.We got our order to go, since their dining room wasn't touted as a place to hang out, but it's a quaint shop.
Ya'll need to support this oldie but goodie, a true gem to the Norwalk area! This good quality sushi on the cheap used to be a staple at S-Mart in Torrance, CA. People would line up and order, do their shopping, and then grab their food when heading out. This place became a staple as the birthday dinner meal for my in-laws, who loved the variety and value. We were super bummed when it closed after the market moved, but it's now located in Norwalk (and about 15 mins from my house to boot !Quality (4/5 : They're heavy on the imitation crab mix (can be a yay or nay for some , so their rolls are pretty big and filling. I want to say they're like 1.5 inches to slightly under 2 inches in diameter. They give just the right amount of sauce, although you're welcome to ask for a bit more if you want. Most of their special rolls are just CA rolls spruced up with toppings, so it lacks variety in some sense, but it's still really good.Service (5/5 : The owner lady has always been super nice. If you order ahead via phone, they usually have the food ready in 10-15 mins and you can ask for the rolls to be packed separately or together. Value (5/5 : For about $11 a roll for special rolls like dragon roll, baked salmon roll, etc., it's definitely worth the price. I'm a huge fan of their dragon roll which doesn't seem to skimp too much on the eel (and let's be honest, it's the worst when there's barely any eel or it's all chewy skin . Their stinky roll is THE BEST if you're a fan of ceviche; it's super refreshing and kind of tastes like a fusion sushi roll. Ambiance (3/5 : It's not the cutest place to eat. It feels more grab n' go, but I might just be biased by their prior location experiences and the name of the establishment itself. In either case, it seems clean, nice and quiet in there if you want to eat your rolls before heading out.Come out and support this place! We've already been there twice the past two weeks to get our sushi fill! :
